Terms of sale
PDF Atelier — version of 12 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms apply to the sale of licences for PDF Atelier, software published by SASU ITECH, a company registered in France (registered office: 10 avenue du Bois de Carcé, 35170 Bruz, France; company number 912 479 102; EU VAT number FR27912479102). Contact: hello@itech.ovh.
2. Who these terms are for
PDF Atelier is sold to businesses and professionals acting in the course of their trade or profession. By ordering a licence you confirm that you are buying for professional purposes.
3. The software and the licence
PDF Atelier is desktop software for Windows 10 and 11. A licence gives one named user the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the software for one year. The software, its code and its documentation remain the property of SASU ITECH. You may not resell, rent, copy for third parties or reverse-engineer the software, except where the law expressly allows it.
4. Free trial
You may try the software free of charge for 30 days, with every feature included and without giving payment details. At the end of the trial the software stops working until a licence is activated. Nothing is charged automatically.
5. Prices and currency
For customers based in the United Kingdom, prices are in pounds sterling, per user, excluding VAT: £99 per year for 1 to 4 users, £85 per year for 5 to 19 users, £75 per year for 20 users or more. For organisations based in the United Kingdom ordering 100 licences or more, a special rate of £5 per user per month applies, billed monthly. You are charged in pounds sterling. Our payment provider converts the amount on our side; no exchange fee is added to your price by us. For customers based elsewhere, prices are in euros: €119, €99 and €89 per user per year, excluding VAT. VAT or any equivalent tax is added where it applies.
6. Ordering and payment
An order is placed on the online order page, or confirmed when we accept it in writing (e-mail is sufficient) and send the invoice or payment link. Payment is made by card, in the currency of the price that applies to you, in full for annual licences and each month for the monthly rate. The licence key is sent by e-mail once payment has been received, and the invoice follows by e-mail. If a monthly payment fails and is not settled within 15 days of our reminder, the licences concerned may be suspended.
7. Term, renewal and cancellation
A licence runs for one year from the date the licence key is issued. We will remind you by e-mail before it expires. It is renewed only if you pay the renewal invoice: there is no automatic debit. If you do not renew, the software stops working at the end of the paid period; your documents stay on your computer and remain yours.
8. Updates and support
New versions released during the licence period are included. Support is provided in English by e-mail at hello@itech.ovh, on French working days. We aim to reply within two working days but do not guarantee a response time.
9. Your documents and your data
PDF Atelier processes your files on your own computer. We do not receive, store or have access to your documents. To issue and check licences we process the purchaser's name, company, e-mail address and licence key, on servers located in the European Union. You may ask to access, correct or erase this information by writing to hello@itech.ovh.
10. Warranty and liability
We supply the software with reasonable care and will correct, within a reasonable time, any defect that prevents its normal use and that you report to us. The software is a tool: you remain responsible for checking the documents you produce with it and for keeping backups of your files. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a licence is limited to the amount you paid for that licence over the previous twelve months, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of data or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Refunds
If the software does not work on a computer that meets the stated requirements and we cannot resolve the problem within 30 days of your report, we will refund the licence concerned for the unused period. We recommend using the free trial to check that the software suits your needs before buying.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Rennes, France, unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force on the date of your order or renewal applies to that licence period.
